For me, and I think for most, weddings are more than just the ceremony. They are the giggles of the bride and bridesmaids as they prepare; the nerves of the groom and the look on his face as his bride walks down the aisle; the magic of your first dance as well as all those unforeseen spontaneous moments that make the day memorable! I love taking photographs – but have to admit, that like most people, I cringe when someone turns the camera on me, inevitably pulling some hideous face, demanding that the photo be deleted immediately and for all eternity!!
So, I understand how daunting the thought of your wedding photography can be and I know that the best photos I take are when my subjects are relaxed, natural, and even often unaware that they are being photographed. Some call it candid, others photojournalistic or reportage. For me it’s capturing people being themselves, interacting with each other, capturing the real you.
